i arrive at school at 9 am to take a stab at the ridiculous pile of essays that are soon to be due. after spilling a cup of coffee, getting stuck for the longest-ten-seconds-of-my-life in an elevator and realizing my feet are soaked from the rain, i finally reach the fine arts reading room, the place where i get the most, and my best work done, to find out its been transformed into some student's installation art project, thus void of tables and chairs and inhabitted by some large nest-like contraption on the floor. god damn. |

you know that feeling that you get when you wear your favorite earrings and at one point during the day it occurs to you to check if their still there, are there not? that feeling of panic? well that's what i've been feeling all week. god damn essays. |

december will not only bring a trip to Paris, France, but getting the chance to see Badly Drawn Boy in Paris as well as matching tattoos on forearms and a much needed lack of term papers and sculpture deadlines. |

my home is empty. my fridge is empy. my wallet is empty. and i can't figure out how to turn the heat on for the life of me. |

i find myself nice little nooks around school for studying and within a week, they get invaded by engineering students. what gives. |

.my bicycle is starting to feel the cold and picks arguments with me mid-travels. .i went to a mosque this evening for the breaking of the fast of ramadan and fell in love with a 7 year old girl in leopard print pants. .every monday, wednesday and friday mornings i look after two little boys, jonas (4) and oliver (14 months); they have re-introduced me to the beauty of dead flowers, walking along railroad tracks and jumping in puddles. .this year is bringing about alot of travelling; -waterloo: sometime in the next few weeks to visit natasha. -paris: for christmas, to visit family -isreal(possibly): for march break, to visit soph's family; inherently, mine. -calabria,venice,rome,pompei,florence,pa months in europe with Maura this summer. .laura bee and i pierced our noses in celebration of surviving a midterm. this could potentially be a dangerous tradition. .school is wonderful. i can actually say i'm thoroughly enjoying them. .fall grounds me. reminds me of the simple. walking through piles of leaves with courtney is by far my most favorite fall activity. evereverever.ever. .he bought me flowers.

my father tried to bribe be yesterday into moving to the country with him and my mother with a car. it's a good thing i have no need or want for a car. school starts tomorrow and im extatic. this has been the longest summer of my life. |

1. i discovered that my laptop gets internet connection in the backyard, thus i now have no need to ever be indoor again. 2. i wonder how possible it would be to start a rooftop garden on my roof. 3. i truly think i am falling madly in love with my bicycle. 4. i don't understand why i have ever been afraid of bees. they are just such beautiful creatures. 5. last night i had an amazing talk with sophine. everything was put into perspective. thank god for her. 6. my allergies are starting to get slightly annoying. but atleast there's no snow. 7. rebecca hoffer repeatedly saves my life. 8. this weekend i am going to the , i guess you would call it "county" fair near my cottage. ferris wheels, hot dogs, dog contests, flea markets. god im excited 9. i hope my neighboors like badly drawn boy, because i think i might be listening to it a little loud. 10. i have not listened to a discman, mp3 player in weeks, and i could not be happier. 11. the second season of grey's anatomy has 23 episodes. weee.

Reasons Why I am Happy. 1. Anselm Keifer gets better and better each time i see him. 2. 21 degrees is my idea of heaven. 3. road trips in may with lovely ladies. 4. spending time with sabrina tansey makes me incredibly happy. 5. Xavier Rudd is performing at the spectrum in less than a month. 6. im still glowing from seeing Regina Spektor not too long ago. 7. im moving into my new appartment in less than a month and a half.(june 1st) 8. the Marvellous Marvin is freakin' going to be my roomate! 9. im going to be living exactly 2.99 miles from Caro!!!!!! 10. mariel is getting a kitten! 11. mariel is getting a freaking kitten! 12. im really on a role with this whole decision-making thing. 13. i love my job. 14. my hair can finally fit in a ponytail (...sorta). 15. courtney and i are going to paint the town in hearts this weekend. |
